Josh, Bailey & Braxton &Jaylee: POP!!! Birth Story

After what felt like weeks of "faults" labor Jaylee Jean Logue was born on May 8th at 3:08pm

I went in to the hospital twice with my contractions 2 to 3 minutes apart and i was just SURE they were not going to send me home. Boy was i wrong!!!

Round one... It was 9pm and i was laying in bed having contractions and could not go to sleep. The pains kept getting worse but i didn't want to wake up josh (he had to be up for work at 5)

I could not get comfy so i decided to get up and get in tub but i did not stay there long because the contractions got worse. I struggled to get my fat swollen body out of the tub and went and woke up Josh. We called my mom, she came up to stay with Braxton and we heading to st george.

We arrived at the hospital around 1am and they hooked me up to all the wires and asking me a million and a half questions before leaving the room for 1 hour. My contractions were 2 minutes apart and PAINFUL. All i remember is I was HOT and Josh was freezing (that never happens! josh is a walking heater) After an hour they came and checked me and i had went from a 3 to a 3 1/2. OH THAT DOESN'T CUT IT! You have to dilate ONE WHOLE cm or they send you home it doesn't matter how closes together your contractions are! They called my doctor but he was out of down and it was up to the one call dr to make the call... He told me talk walk for another hour and get checked again and if i had progressed then we could stay... Sooo... WE WALKED AND WALKED AND WALKED.. they checked be again around 4:30am utah time and still NO CHANGE... SO.. they sent me home. I contracted, yelled about the doctors and cried all the way home... got home relaxed and contractions slowed down to about 5 minutes apart. and Josh went to work and worked 10 hours on NO sleep.

Same story just a different day!

I just swear about the doctors a little more. :)

I kept telling them "This baby needs to be born! Break my water and i will have her in 30 minutes" I just got the eye roll.

MAY 8, 2013

BIRTH DAY!

We got a call from the hospital around 10am

Very nice nurse (VNN): good morning is this Bailey

Me: Yes

VNN: do you want to have a baby today

Me: UM.. HECK YA (IDK what my exact words were but i know what was something stupid and along those lines.)

VNN: Well we are ready when you are..

Josh and i were both so excited! I started chanting "were gonna have a baby! were gonna have a baby"

and at the very moment we seen our lives flash before our eyes as a semi truck came right over into our lane and i had to SLAM on the breaks!

anyways...

We arrived at the hospital around 11:30ish and they hooked me up to the wires and asked me the same millions and half question they ask me the last two times i was in there (stupid)

I was having contractions 4 minutes apart and they started pitocin around 12:30ish

My doctor came in and broke my water around 1:20 I received my epidural at 2. My mom,Julie and Stetsy all walked in around seconds before I started pushing... I pushed through 2 1/2 pushes and little miss Jaylee Jean Logue was born at 3:08 pm

ITS GO TIME!!!

I love this man.
